Will I know immediately if there is fuel system damage? No, some vehicles can still drive for miles with fuel system damage. But there are warning signs to look for, such as, your vehicle struggles or sputters to start, doesn’t start at all, or stalls.
Does it take a long time to replace the fuel filter? No, this varies by vehicle make and model, but if all fuel filter replacement steps are performed properly and safely it should only take you about 1 hour to replace the fuel filter. Your vehicle’s owner’s manual may list the fuel filter replacement procedure for your specific vehicle. Also, some fuel filters use Quick Connects and may require a special tool to replace them.
If I do not replace my fuel filter frequently will it run less efficiently? Yes, this may result in less than optimum efficiency. Refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual for exact fuel filter replacement intervals for your specific vehicle.

At The Buy Max, our aim is to ensure the swift and efficient delivery of your parts. To make your shopping experience as seamless and accurate as possible, we complete 3 steps between completing your purchase and receiving your parts - order confirmation, processing, and shipping.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
- After you complete your purchase, our system validates your order details and payment information.
- Then we processed your order to shipped
- We will send you an order confirmation email usually within a few minutes of checking out.
ORDER PROCESSING
- We process all orders received before 5:00 pm EST on the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed within the next business day.
- Please note that we do not process orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays; such orders will be attended to on the next business day.
- There are instances where we may need to confirm certain specifics with you, particularly if it involves part availability, additional shipping costs, or the location of your items. When we have confirmed these details with you, your order will continue processing.
- Once we have successfully processed your order, a confirmation will be sent via email.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND LEAD TIMES
Our typical order processing and part retrieval lead times are subject to availability and are indicated on the product detail page for each part.
- In-Stock part - we process the order and retrieve the part within 1-2 business days before sending it out for shipping.
- Available part - The order processing and retrieval lead time is indicated on the product detail page. After retrieval, the part is sent out for shipping.
- Back-ordered part - it is unavailable for immediate processing and retrieval. We will contact you with the anticipated lead time.
IMPORTANT - If you select an expedited shipping option, it will not reduce the processing lead time before the order is shipped.
ORDER SHIPPING
Shipping options include:
- UPS Ground: Estimated transit time is typically 1-5 business days, excluding order processing and part retrieval lead time.
- UPS 2nd Day Air: Transit time is 2 business days, excluding any additional product lead time. For orders shipped on a Friday, delivery would usually be on the following Tuesday unless a public holiday falls on Monday and/or Tuesday.
Once your order ships, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information.
SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATES
If you need your order delivered on a specific date, please contact us before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request, although we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
SHIPPING DELAYS
We strive to get your parts to you as quickly as possible. However, once your order has shipped, we unfortunately cannot control the delivery date and therefore cannot guarantee when your products will arrive.
ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
At The Buy Max, we are not liable for any items lost, stolen, or damaged due to the carrier's fault. If your package is damaged or lost in transit, please contact us and we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.
SHIPPING ERRORS
In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong item, we will take full responsibility. We will send you a return shipping label and bear any costs associated with getting you the correct part as fast as possible.
WILL CALL
If you prefer to pick up your items or have them picked up by a third party carrier of your choice, you may request for a call. The full payment for the order must be processed before pickup, and a pickup time must be scheduled in advance. Please note that all fees associated with third-party pickups are the customer's responsibility.

Please follow the guidelines below to ensure that all returns are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible:
- Parts returned after 30 days from the date of shipment will not be accepted.
- Returned parts must be in their original, undamaged packaging with all original packing slips and documentation.
- Please email photos of the items you wish to return in advance to ensure a smooth return process.
- No refunds on electrical parts.
- No refunds on parts that have been installed.
- Please include a copy of your invoice or packing slip.
Once your return is received and inspected (usually within one day of receiving it), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your payment method. Depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.
EXCHANGE POLICY
- We only replace parts if they are defective or damaged.
- Contact Customer Support at +1 631-871-8973 within 30 days of delivery for resolution.
- In the event that we cross ship a replacement part and we do not receive the defective product back after 30 days from the date you receive the replacement, we reserve the right to charge your credit card or other source of funds for the retail price of the non-returned part.
RETURNS & EXCHANGE PROCESS
- Pack the part carefully to prevent damage during shipment. Please include a copy of the original invoice highlighting the returned part. You may use any preferred shipping provider at your cost.
